Westside (Kitsilano, South Granville, UBC and South Vancouver) There's plenty to interest the visitor here with the markets of Granville Island, beaches, gardens, some fine museums and a thriving arts scene. |
East Van (Commercial Drive, South Main, Punjabi Market) A large, mostly residential area of the city. Commercial Drive has diverse ethnic restaurants and has a strong artistic and political/counter-culture presence; Main Street is an artsy part of the city filled with unique shops selling antique furniture, designer clothing and many independent coffee shops. |
