Providing probably one of the cheapest accommodation of the island. Rooms from Bt 180 - 400. The cheapest rooms have shared bathrooms.

It is in the heart of Phuket town, next to the local food market on Ranong Road. Its central location allows easy trips - via buses and taxis - to Phuket's surrounding beaches and sights. There is also abundant shopping and dining in the area. Fan cooled rooms at the back are popular with cockroaches and mosquitos, so be prepared to share or fight for your space (and bring your own lock for the door). Fast and free Wi-Fi, but the range does not extend to the outlying rooms. At 550 Bt for a double room with fan (July 2010) the rooms are pretty pricey considering the facilities and the condition.

This hotel is situated some 500 metres from the Bus Terminal, and is ideal for people who want an overnight stay before going further afield.
To get there, go to where the airport bus arrives/leaves the terminal, and go to your right beneath the large tree and into the street beyond. Walk along this street to its termination some 200 metres distant, then turn left. The hotel is some further 300 metres to your left immediately before this road intersects with another. Is aircon throughout,with a lift, and for B690 a double, you also get breakfast, this is a buffet and is quite good. Price is still the same at May 2011,if you book as a walkin. Online is B800. Rooms are a little worn, but clean. Plenty of channels on the TV, and the shower water is hot.
There is a 711 some 200 metres past the road back to the bus terminal (on Luangphor Rd). A little further along from the 711 is a good restaurant and internet cafes a little further along still. There are also basic restaurants near the hotel.
