The Renfe website has been historically unusable, but as of the time of this writing, the English language version has been completely overhauled to now be a very solid reference, although other languages remain spotty at best. That said, due to the continued construction work, it is often advised to verify with the ticket agents at the station if your arrival time is crucial and make sure to double check for national holidays as few trains run.
