Gateways to the Park are the towns of Hluhluwe (pronounced Shloo Shloowee) and Mtubatuba, all of them easily accessible from the N2, which runs all along the east coast of South Africa. It connects the park with nearby Durban, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Swaziland.
Follow the N2 north from Durban and turn west at Mtubatuba. About 30 km west you will come to the entry gate to the Park...did you book accommodation there? Mpila Camp is excellent!
