Leeds-Bradford International Airport . Leeds is very accessible by air. 10 miles north-west of the city centre. Budget airline Jet2 offer a wide range of flights to and from Leeds, its main base. The easiest way to catch a connecting flight from a long haul flight is to fly via Amsterdam (at least 6 flights daily with Jet2 and KLM), as well as flights to London (Flybe) and Paris (Jet2). There are also direct flights to various Europe cities with RyanAir . The only long haul flight is to Islamabad in Pakistan.
There is a regular bus service (the 757) into the city (journey time 40 minutes) and cabs are plentiful. Manchester airport is also easily reached by train with a much larger choice of flights.
