The Hills Section has become relatively dangerous, especially at night. Urban youth patrol the streets looking for parked cars to break into and drunk collegiate to rob at gun and knife point. These armed robberies are fairly uncommon however they still occur, including a mugging at gun point on Mulberry Street at 1.30 am on a Sunday morning (Saturday night... collegiates)
There is now a rather large gathering of homeless persons and beggars downtown. They will usually ask you for some money and make a rude comment upon refusal to pay.
