CAUTION FOREIGNERS: Palace Eighteen 18 Bar in Zhongshan (十八号公馆中山) has recently seen a number of unprovoked attacks by the nightclub guards on foreigners and Chinese girls that associate with the foreigners. On April 24th 2011 at approximately 2.30am 3 young girls left 18 Bar followed by 5 guards. In a completely unprovoked attack a Chinese girl was punched in the back of the head and a white girl was kicked. One of the guards attempted to smash a bottle over a Chinese girls head. Apparently the guards were angry that the Chinese girls were associating with foreigners in the club. Male foreigners rushed to their rescue and there was a violent standoff until the Police arrived. There have been a number of prior incidents of violence against foreigners by the guards of 18 Bar.
